يوم يبدو ممتعا جدا فى السنة الثانية بكلية الصيدلة عندما صحوت مبكرا لبدء يوم جامعى جديد. كنت احس بالطاقة الايجابية ليس فقط لاننى ساستمتع بوقتى فمع اصدقائى و لكن ابضا لاانى دعوت على العشاء فى بيت السفيرة الامريكية مارجريت سكوبى.وبعد اخر سكشن عملى بمادة الكيمياء الحيوية رجعت الى البيت لاحضر نفسى للسفر الى القاهرة لحضور حفل العشاء فى حرم السفارة الامريكية مع مجموعة من الدبلوماسيين واخصائيين الشئون الثقافية الامريكيين. وكالعادة, قمت بفتح ايميلى الشخصى ووجدت مفأجاة بعد عدة اشهر من الانتظار وكانت هى ااول خطوة لبناء بقية حياتى..بدء سعادة من نوع اخر...ثرثرة بجانب نهر هاكنساك

selection as a finalist for participation in the scholarship funded by the
United States Department of State to pursue undergraduate study in the United
States. The scholarship Program was
established with funds allocated by the Congress of the United States and is
intended to promote mutual understanding between U.S. and your country.
The Public Affairs Section at the U.S.
Embassy in Cairo will provide you information regarding your acceptance of
participation and the terms and conditions of your scholarship. Once your
participation in confirmed, further information will be provided regarding your
visa and placement at a host college or university in the United States.
The
scholarship provides round-trip travel from your home city to your U.S.
host college or university, tuition, housing and meals, and a stipend for
living expenses as well as enrichment activities for the period of the program.

بدأت.بعد قراءة الرسالة,ادركت ان يجب تجهيز نفسى للسفر والاستمتاع بالعشاء فى السفارة
الامريكية وكنت اشعر بالفخر والسعادة
